Last year Not Jersey and I flew to Oahu for a day-trip on Valentine's Day. Flying to Oahu is the Nebraska equivalent of driving to Omaha or Lincoln, except there's a plane. Honolulu is our big city with all the good shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.
We took the bus from the Honolulu airport to The Outrigger Waikiki Resort for brunch at the Hula Grill. It was a very nice restaurant with views of the beach. The food and service were good also.
After brunch, we stepped down to the beach for a stroll.
Then Not Jersey headed off on a walk. I went shopping before grabbing a bus to my neurologist on Liliha.
We met up at the airport and took the 6:30 plane home. All in all, it was a nice Valentine's Day.
