In the name of all that is holy, I love this ice cream.
In Hawaii they have "Kona Mud" ice cream that is ah-mazing! This is my attempt at a mainland version.
2 cups cream (I used half-n-half)
1 cup milk 3 tsp instant espresso powder (I used 6 tsp instant coffee)
2 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup strong coffee chilled
¾ cup sugar
6 chopped Oreos (I used double stuff)
Whisk together milk, sugar, espresso powder, and chilled coffee. Then, whisk in cream and vanilla. Pour into ice cream maker and let it spin for 20-25 minutes. Then add Oreos and let it go a few more minutes. Boom. You’re welcome.
